oneness of Allah

The oneness of Allah, known as Tawhid, should be fundamental belief of all human beings. i.e. belief in only one God (Allah), Unique and without any partners. It rejects polytheism, idolatry, and the worship of any creature.

This aspect asserts that Allah is the sole creator and sustainer of the universe.

Day of judgement

Day of Judgment, also known as the Day of Resurrection (Yawm al-Qiyamah), is a fundamental belief that holds significant theological and eschatological importance.
It is the day when Allah (God) will resurrect all human beings from their graves, judge them based on their beliefs and deeds, and determine their eternal fate in the Hereafter.

character development

Character development is one aspect of ISLAH, focusing on refining oneself by emulating Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and embodying Quranic values like honesty, patience, compassion, and justice, transforming faith into ethical actions for personal growth and a healthy society, with the ultimate aim of pleasing God (Allah). It involves continuous self-improvement, self-discipline, prayer, and seeking knowledge from the Quran and Sunnah (Prophet’s teachings).

QURAN – REVEALATION OF ALLAH

The Quran is considered the literal word of Allah (The Creator of Universe),revealed directly to His last Prophet, Muhammad ﷺ (peace be upon him), in the Arabic language.

The Quran is the final revealed message which complements and completes earlier revealed scriptures, just as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught the same essential message as the many prophets before him, including Adam, Noah, Moses, Abraham, and Jesus (peace be upon them all). The Quran clarifies what humanity needs to know from now until the Day of Judgment, and it will remain preserved from loss and distortion which affected previous scriptures in various ways.

Revealed to Prophet Muhammad

One night, the Angel Gabriel appeared to him and commanded him to “Recite!”
The Prophet, who could not read or write, was filled with awe and responded that he was unable to. The angel repeated the command twice more, and with each repetition, the Prophet’s heart opened to the words. This first encounter began a series of revelations that would continue for more than two decades.

The Revelation Over 23 Years

The Quran was not revealed all at once. Instead, it was revealed in pieces over 23 year, from 610 CE until the Prophet’s death in 632 CE. This gradual revelation allowed the teachings to be easily understood and integrated into the lives of the early Muslim community. The verses often came down in response to specific events, questions, or challenges faced by the community.

The Role of the Angel Gabriel

The Angel Gabriel served as the divine messenger, transmitting the words of Allah to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). He would appear to the Prophet in various forms, and the Prophet would then share the revelations with his companions. The companions would then write down the verses and also memorize it.

Purpose of Life

Everyone in this world thinks about what’s the purpose of our life? Why have we been created? Why are we here in this world?

Allah Almighty says in Quran: “Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose) and that you would not be brought back to Us?”  (Quran 23:115)

In the Holy Quran, Almighty Allah mentioned the reason of creation of this world that is: “And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is over all things competent. Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding.
Al – Quran (Surah Al Imran Verse 189-190)

Recognition of the Creator

The foundational purpose is to know and recognizing Allah’s existence, it’s attributes and worship Allah. Submitting one’s will to Allah and placing complete trust in Him.

Striving for Divine Pleasure

The aim is to seek the pleasure of Allah, which constitutes the highest success. Every action (good deeds) should be done with good intentions and exactly according to Allah’s will, not just rituals.

Preparation for the Hereafter

Life is a temporary, preparatory stage for an everlasting life in the hereafter, necessitating that Muslims prioritize eternal rewards over temporary worldly gains.
